Kaitlyn ‘Amouranth’ Siragusa is one of the top streamers on the planet with millions of followers across multiple platforms, but she lost quite a few of those followers when YouTube deleted one of her accounts.
On August 20, the popular content creator revealed that her entire ASMR channel was “removed without warning” after she posted a video.
“I was just brushing the mic with a paintbrush,” she claimed.
Visiting Amouranth’s ASMR channel shows a screen that reads, “This page isn’t available. Sorry about that. Try searching for something else.”
After tagging YouTube on X/Twitter, the official support team responded, asking the streamer to share more info, including the channel name. Once they had the information, they explained that the termination was no error.
“Our policy team confirmed the termination was correct,” YouTube said, justifying the decision to delete the channel by referring to an article on the platform’s Nudity and Sexual Content policy. “Appreciate your understanding of our need to make this tough call.”
